Moto Edge 50 Ultra Specs and Price

When Motorola released the Edge 50 Pro in India, it became well-known for being a reasonably priced gadget. But that wasn’t the end of it; the business has since introduced the Edge 50 Ultra in a few European nations. In contrast to the Edge 50 Pro, the Ultra is a flagship device that appears to do many things well.

A 10-bit, 6.7-inch, 1.5K pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz is the highlight of the Edge 50 Ultra. With a peak brightness of 2,500 nits, HDR10+ certification, and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, it appears to be the same display as the Edge 50 Pro. The display is also 100% DCI-P3 compliant, features DC dimming, and has Pantone calibration. Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus shields it, and Motorola just partnered with Corning to make this possible.

Performance and Battery:

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will be used in the Edge 50 Pro, the second smartphone in the globe. In summary, while it lacks some capabilities, the CPU and GPU performance are somewhat comparable to the 8 Gen 3 and it is a better SoC overall than the 8 Gen 2. UFS 4.0 storage is utilized in conjunction with LPDDR5X RAM.

Like the Edge 50 Pro, the Edge 50 Ultra has a 4,500 mAh battery that can be charged at an incredible 125W. Though we wish Motorola had increased the capacity to 5,000 mAh.

Cameras and Software :

There are three rear cameras on the phone. There are three principal cameras in the series: a 50 MP wide angle with optical zoom (OIS) secondary camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 64 MP 72mm telephoto with 3X optical zoom (OIS). There is also a 50 MP front camera.
The phone is compatible with Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7/6E, and 5G. Also, the USB Type-C port adheres to USB 3.1 Gen 2 specifications.

Color and Price :

Three colors are available for the phone: Forest Grey, Nordic Wood, and Fuzzy Peach. The former was formerly utilized in the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and is a Pantone color. In the upcoming weeks, the Motorola Edge Ultra is expected to go on sale in a few European nations, with a starting price of €1,000. Soon, the phone will be accessible in Latin America, Asia, and Oceania as well.
