A Guide on How to Save a Website as an Image

This feature is integrated into certain devices but not in others. That being said, no matter what device you’re using, you can still employ workarounds to make a scrolling screenshot.
We’ll cover every aspect of capturing a scrolling capture in this post, along with providing answers to some of the most often asked questions.

In Google Chrome:

  1. Navigate to the website you wish to capture.
  2. Use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac) to launch Developer Tools.
  3. Click on the mobile icon (located next to the Elements tab) to activate the device toolbar.
  4. Choose a device from the dropdown menu to simulate various screen sizes.
  5. Capture the screenshot by pressing Ctrl + Shift + 4 (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + 4 (Mac).
  6. Save the screenshot to your preferred destination.”

Here are the steps to take a screenshot using Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Go to the website you wish to capture.
  2. Use Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac) to open Developer Tools.
  3. Locate and click on the ‘Toggle the screenshot tool’ icon located in the top-right corner.
  4. Capture the screenshot and save it to your desired location.

How to Save a Website as an Image on a Mac :

First, navigate to the website you wish to capture, then open Capto.

2- Choose the Capto icon from the Mac’s menu bar located on the Capto toolbar.

3-Click on “Snap active browser URL.”
