Google is commemorating the network’s debut of Find My Device. Interestingly, the company has since stated that Pixel 8 smartphones can be found even in the event that their batteries run out.
The Find My Device tracking network is integrated with all devices running Android 9 or later. These devices help users locate their stuff by using low-energy Bluetooth to detect and anonymously notify the location of lost or stolen objects.
Put otherwise, Find My Device is the Find My network on Android. It is compatible with smartwatches, earphones, phones, and tiny trackers that resemble AirTags.
A phone’s location can be found and shared with the Find My Device network even when it is switched off.
