Download Mod Manager for Dragon’s Dogma 2 :
Before installing any mods for Dragon’s Dogma 2, it’s essential to install a mod manager. While not mandatory for installing most mods, mod managers are crucial for managing multiple mods simultaneously.
Begin by visiting Nexus Mods and downloading the Fluffy Mod Manager for free. Once downloaded, extract the files into a new folder. You can use 7zip or WinRar for this purpose, although Windows 11 users should be able to extract the files without any third-party software.
Once you’ve extracted the files into a separate folder, run the Modmanager.exe file and select Dragon’s Dogma 2 from the list of games.
After the Mod Manager opens, close it and navigate to the folder containing the extracted Mod Manager files.
Then, open the Games folder and locate the Dragon’s Dogma 2 folder. Open it, followed by the Mods folder. With the Mod Manager now set up, it’s time to download some mods

Go back to Nexus Mods and download the Dragon’s Dogma 2 mod of your choice. For instance, we’ll be using the Early N’ Cheap Art of Metamorphosis mod for Dragon’s Dogma 2, which enables obtaining the Art of Metamorphosis for free in the game, allowing you to change character appearances
Once the mod is downloaded, follow these steps:
- Extract the mod and copy its files.
- Return to the mod folder within the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Mod Manager directory, and paste the files there.
- Restart the Mod Manager; the new mod should now be visible on the screen.
- Enable the mod toggle and choose the ‘Launch game’ option. This will launch Dragon’s Dogma 2 with the enabled mods.”
Installing Mods in Dragon’s Dogma 2 Without Mod Manager Certain mods may not be compatible with the Mod Manager. In such cases, you’ll need to manually copy and paste the mod files directly into the Dragon’s Dogma 2 installation folder.
1- To access the DD2 installation folder, open Steam and navigate to your Library. Right-click on Dragon’s Dogma 2, select Manage, and then choose Browse Local Files.
2- This will open the installation folder. Paste the mod files here, replacing any old files if prompted, and the mod should be ready to use
