The “Disable link previews” toggle is new in WhatsApp Beta versions 2.24.8.11 for Android and 24.7.10.76 for iOS. When you enable this feature, URLs you share will no longer have previews. However, previews for links shared by users who haven’t activated this feature will still appear.
Here’s a short tutorial to activate it :
1- Once WhatsApp is open, tap the three dots in the upper right corner.
2- Navigate to Settings from this point on, then select Privacy.
3- Navigate now to the bottom of the page to the Advanced section.
4- Enable the Disable link previews toggle here.
The previews will no longer be shown to you after they are enabled.
