How to Remove a Story on Snapchat

Snapchat stories typically vanish after 24 hours automatically. However, there may be times when you wish to remove a story on Snapchat before the 24-hour mark. While you can’t delete the entire story at once, you have the option to selectively delete individual Snaps. Read on to learn how to delete a story on Snapchat.

Here’s how you can remove a story on Snapchat:

1. Open the Snapchat app on your device.
2. Tap on the Profile icon located at the top left to access your Profile.
3. Select My Story to view your story.
4. If you’ve included multiple Snaps in your story, navigate to the Snap(s) you want to remove.
5. Press and hold on the Snap you wish to delete.
6. Tap on Delete, then confirm by tapping Done.
7. In the popup window, tap Delete to confirm the deletion of your Snap.
8. Repeat these steps for any other Snaps you wish to delete from your story.

Important: If you’ve created a story, you have the ability to delete not only the Snaps you added but also those contributed by others.
